Happy dance. Happy dance. Happy dance. If you’re going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year or just enjoy watching it on the TV, you are absolutely in for a treat.

Are you ready? Sebastian Vettel will be attending this year’s Festival of Speed, driving classic F1 cars from his own collection.

HOW EXCITING.

The last time he attended the festival was in 2012, but he’ll be back to drive some incredible Formula 1 cars, including an ex-Nigel Mansell Williams and an ex-Ayrton Senna McLaren.

Vettel will be at Goodwood on both Saturday and Sunday, while all weekend there will be a display of his cars in the main paddocks for all to see.

But that’s not the only part! The cars will only run on sustainable fuels to showcase the ‘Race Without A Trace’ cause. The first time we saw this displayed was during the 2022 British Grand Prix when Seb drove the 1992 Williams FW14B that he’ll be back behind the wheel of at Goodwood.

Vettel is unsurprisingly excited about his Goodwood return, saying: “It’s great to be coming back to Goodwood after all these years.

“I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of some of my most memorable cars, which will be running on sustainable fuel over the weekend.

“I’m a passionate racer, and it’s important to me that we continue to enjoy driving iconic racing cars today and in the future but that we do so in a responsible way.”

The Festival of Speed takes place at Goodwood on July 13-16, and there are only a few ticket packages remaining. So, if you’ve already managed to grab tickets – we are very jealous but have a great time!
