Recently, NASCAR’s official Twitter account tweeted a post urging fans to underline their expectations for Brad Keselowski in the coming season.
Having left the comfort zone of Team Penske, Keselowski decided to seek new challenges with Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing as a driver-owner.
One of the replies came from former NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace. He stressed that the success of the team depends on how good the engineers are. He tweeted:
“Jack Roush was looking for someone to take over the reins that has a lot of knowledge and history of running a race team and working on race cars. @keselowski
fits that category. I believe there success depends on how good their engineers are..”
Keselowski responded to Wallace’s tweet by calling his move a “big gamble” but also said that he feels more confident every new day.
“Thanks Kenny! I think we have some great people eager to show what they can do next year @RFKracing
“It’s a big gamble for me but feeling better and better about it each day.”

The 2012 Cup Series champion didn’t have a year to remember in the 2021 season. He was his worst season since 2015, with just one win. On a positive note, he reached the playoffs for the eighth straight year and 10th time in the last 12 seasons.
RFK Racing will be looking for this sort of determination from Keselowski going forward but he would certainly like to add to the wins number for the 2022 season.
