BREAKING NEWS

today is Mar 24, 2023

Alfa Romeo were the fourth team so far this season to reveal their car for the 2023 season. But they’ve now taken the car launch one step further: they’ll be auctioning off the very car we saw revealed under the tarp this morning – a world first!

Yes, a brand new Alfa Romeo C43, the very same car launched this morning, with the chassis number 001 is up for auction right now on F1 Authentics – And the chassis plaque itself is signed by their two drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.

Now, not to rain on the parade too badly here; but this is still a show car, so blasting it down the M25 won’t be happening! But it still is a working show car with all the moulds you’d expect from a fully running F1 car, including all the working electronics, such as the display on the 3D-printed steering wheel. And the rain lights work too! You can even attach the wheel and steer the actual wheels itself. So you can show off to your mates when you inevitably mount it on your coffee table.

A world exclusive. And it could be yours.

For the first time in history, we're making an #F1 launch car available to the public.

This C43 chassis, as built by F1 Authentics, is now officially up for auction.

Included in the package are the actual race suits that the drivers wore as they unveiled the car, signed by Bottas and Zhou themselves!

You’ve got until February 21 at 3pm UK Time to get your bids in, which at time of writing is already at an eye-watering £71,000! So good luck and happy bidding! Although somehow I don’t think I’ll be able to claim this one on expenses…
