Kyle Busch’s future at Joe Gibbs Racing has been up for speculation after the No. 18 driver failed to confirm his future due to the lack of sponsorship.

Busch took everyone by surprise with the attitude he approached the question of his future at JGR beyond the current season and he even suggested that he would have no sadness to leave the team if the matter is not resolved.

With Busch’s future a hot topic right now, Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney was asked about the topic, who responded by saying that Busch would be a big asset to anyone he chooses to join if he leaves JGR.

“You never know how things are going, right. Me, I mean, personally, I don’t dig into that stuff. I mean that is you guy’s job,” Blaney said. “Hey, I’m just a guest on this show guys. OK, Kyle. It’s unfortunate that MM’s announced that they were leaving. They’ve been with Kyle for years and years and been a huge part of that team.

“Listen, at the end of the day, Kyle Busch is probably one of the best race car drivers we’ve ever seen in the sport and he’s won so many races across all three series. Whether it’s staying at JGR or going somewhere else, he’s going to be a threat no matter where he goes. Or, he could just be playing with us and they already got it done and he’s just acting like — you never know.”

The two-time Champion is still one of the best drivers around in the Cup Series and he already has his win of the season, the 18th consecutive season he has had at least a win.

As for Blaney, he is doing well overall, sitting in the second place in the series standings but is yet to register a win this season.
