It’s no secret that F1 has become highly popular in recent years. Whether that’s down to the brilliant on-track action or a surge of new fans thanks to Netflix’s Drive To Survive, grandstands at races have been busy. Like, really busy.

Last season, the United States Grand Prix boasted crowds of 400,000 over the weekend, which was reported as the most people at an F1 event, ever. However, the recent Australian Grand Prix might have even snatched the crown with even higher numbers 🤯

According to an article by  The Guardian , “F1 expects all its remaining 20 races this year will also sell out” – crazy!!

Even Silverstone, which has been on the F1 calendar since 1950, have revealed they’ve sold out in record time, and are expected to break its attendance record!

“We have never reached a position of sellout so early in the year,” Stuart Pringle, Silverstone’s Managing Director, said.

“We have increased capacity slightly by adding extra grandstand seats and anticipate our race day crowd to reach 142,000 this year. If sales continue at this pace, we expect to be sold out across all three days.”

With interest also high at new venues like Miami next month, we’re not too surprised to see so much love for F1!
