This weekend’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix has been cancelled after F1 , the local authorities and the promoter in Imola agreed that it was not safe to proceed because of the risks related to flooding caused by severe weather, as well as it being irresponsible to put further pressure on the local authorities and emergency services at this difficult time.
Many of the drivers have come out with messages of support for those affected by the flooding and wishing for fans who travelled out to Imola for the race to stay safe.
